Members J Walter Forest and Paul Boisseau visited the Apple Valley Nursing Home in Ayer, MA to distribute gifts provided by the MA Legion to resident Veterans.
Visit to The Veterans Hospital - 12 December 2004
Commander Harmon coordinates the visit.
On 12 December 2005 Commander Frank Harmon, Senior Vice Commander Steve Wentzell and Historian Dave Sawyer visited the Veterans Hospital in Bedford MA along with members of other posts of the American Legion. We visited Ward 78C and distributed refreshments to the veterans of the ward and engaged in conversation with those who were able to. It was a sobering reminder of the sacrifices that these men have made in their service to our nation.
